I am often challenged by the classical business management rule that you should focus on one thing.  In this time of economic recession, I find that being a ‘parallel’ entrepreneur allows me to strategically balance many projects and diversify my portfolio of interests.  In support of my approach to business, I friend sent me this quotation from the Bible:

Ecclesiastes 11:6

Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let not your hands be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.
